Wendi Pankhurst

Wendi paints the female form in an intuitive way using strong, vibrant colours in her large, lively paintings. She trained at St Martin's school of Art, followed by 16 years as a fashion artist in London. Wendi then spent 10 years painting and drawing in the Caribbean and Pacific whilst on a circumnavigation of the world, exhibiting in Tahiti, Australia and New Zealand.

As a member of the Auckland Society of Art she won the ASAB prize for her portraiture.

Since returning to the UK, she has exhibited in London (Mall Gallery and West Beer Gallery), RWA Bristol, and St. Barbe Lymington, where she has organised numerous exhibitions for the Palette Club.
